Youth Mentor & Sports Training Coach

Every Kid Needs Someone In their corner.

I help kids and teens build confidence, find their voice, strengthen their mindset and develop life skills through mentoring, movement, sports, conversation and connection.

With over 30 years of experience working with children as an educator, PE teacher, basketball coach, author and mentor, I provide one-on-one and small group support for kids who need encouragement, guidance, structure, confidence and another trusted adult in their life.

Every kid needs someone in their corner.

Why I Do This

After years of teaching, coaching, and working with young people, I have learned that every child is carrying something.

Some kids carry doubt. Some carry fear.
Some carry pressure.
Some carry loneliness.
Some carry anger, confusion, or the feeling that nobody really sees them.

That is why I do this work.

My goal is to help kids understand what they are carrying and give them the tools to carry themselves with more confidence, discipline, self-awareness, and purpose. I believe young people need more than instruction. They need connection. They need encouragement. They need someone who can listen, challenge them, laugh with them, move with them, and remind them of who they are capable of becoming.

Sometimes parents need additional support too. Not because they are not doing enough, but because raising kids takes a village. I want to be part of that village — a positive, consistent, trusted presence who helps kids grow in school, sports, friendships, and life.
